Boondocks Brewing in West Jefferson, NC, opened in 2012 and has some of the most amazing food and brews. Boondocks was the first craft brewery to open in Ashe County, and they have been committed to making a positive impact on the local community since then. If you visit West Jefferson, you will notice there are multiple Boondocks Brewing buildings on the main strip of downtown. One of them houses the restaurant, which is the location that we visited. We highly recommend their Pot Roast and Meatloaf (when it is in season). You will not regret dining and enjoying a brew at Boondocks.
