The International Civil Rights Center & Museum tells the story of the NC A&T Four and the beginning of the sit-ins in Greensboro. They have preserved the lunch counter of the Greensboro Woolworth as it would have appeared during the sit-ins, as a powerful reminder of the courage exhibited by those that participated in the sit-ins. The Museum also has other engaging exhibits that provide opportunities for its visitors to better understand the struggles of the civil rights movement, the realities of the era, and the heroism displayed by those that put the cause above themselves. The ICRCM remains dedicated to advancing civil rights, and its Museum is one of the best museums that we have been through. We definitely recommend taking the time to visit the ICRCM.
