Hickory Nut Falls

The Falls are located in Chimney Rock State Park, part of the wider Hickory Nut Gorge area. The Falls gained recognition after they were featured in the movie “The Last of the Mohicans,” starring Daniel Day-Lewis. The Falls were showcased in the film’s dramatic cliff-jumping scene.
