Copperhead Trail – Greensboro, NC - The Sociable Adventurer

The Copperhead Trail in Greensboro, NC, is a 3.2-mile loop known for its moderately challenging terrain, making it perfect for birdwatching, hiking, and mountain biking. This trail winds through scenic wooded areas with berms and gullies that create an enjoyable experience for mountain bikers. Located within the City of Greensboro’s Country Park, the trail features sections such as “The Zone,” which includes jumps and technical features designed for more experienced riders. Access to the trail is available from the Safety Town parking lot or directly from the Country Park paved trail (this is the way that we accessed the trail), and it is generally less crowded, offering a peaceful outdoor experience.
