Attractions – Bethania, NC

Bethania, NC offers a genuinely singular piece of American Moravian religious community heritage for visitors — anchored by the Historic Bethania Visitor Center, the primary orientation point for exploring the village’s 500-acre National Historic Landmark District and its 18th-century Moravian planned community heritage.

The Visitor Center provides interpretive context for the historic village that surrounds it — including the 1809 Bethania Moravian Church (still an active congregation along the village’s original 1759 street plan), the 1795 Wolff-Moser House, and numerous other preserved 18th and 19th-century buildings. Combined with self-guided walking tours through the Forsyth County village, the Historic Bethania Visitor Center is the natural starting point for visitors exploring what makes Bethania one of the most historically significant small towns anywhere in North Carolina.
