@thesociableadventurer Old Salem Museum and Gardens is a historic site that allows guests to step back in time to observe life in one of the largest and earliest Moravian Settlements in the American South while also honoring the free and enslaved Black and Indigenous people who lived there. The property is comprised of the Historic Town of Salem, the galleries at Frank L. Horton Museum Center, including the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts (MESDA), and the Gardens at Old Salem. We love walking the historic grounds, reminiscing on the wood bridge where we got engaged, exploring the MESDA museum, and wandering through the Potter’s Workshop and Boys’ School with our kids. @Visit NC @DiscoverTheCarolinas @Old Salem & MESDA @thegotowinstonsalem #WinstonSalem #WinstonSalemNC #ForsythCounty #ForsythCountyNC #VisitNC #myNC #CelebratingNC #ExploreNC #ExploreLocal #discover_carolinas #discoverthecarolinas #BestoftheTarheelState #NC #NorthCarolina #Discover #Adventure #Explore #TheSociableAdventurer #NCTown #NCCity #DTWS #OldSalem #Moravian #NCHistory #1700s #History #VisitWS ♬ Traveller – Beau + Luci
