Reynolda House – Woodland Trail

The Reynolda House Woodland Trail, located within the historic Reynolda Estate in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, offers a delightful outdoor experience for visitors. This trail spans approximately 0.75 miles and features a primarily wood-chip path that meanders through the shaded heart of this 134-acre outdoor sanctuary. Once part of the sprawling 1917 estate of tobacco magnate R.J. Reynolds and his wife Katharine—a self-sustaining paradise of farms, forests, and formal gardens—this shaded haven is now a living tapestry of towering oaks, ferns, and wildflowers. Here, the air is filled with the sounds of birds singing and leaves rustling underfoot.
